College Planning

Grade Level College & Career Planning Checklist

If you would like your official high school transcript sent to a college/university, please complete the following form and return to Mrs. Stark. Forms are also located in the school counseling office.
Students should complete the following form and give it to the individual(s) they are requesting write them a letter of recommendation. Forms are also located in the school counseling office.
Students are allowed 3 excused days per year to visit colleges or universities of interest. In addition, many colleges will visit Edgerton High School during lunch hour and BLT. Use emails and announcements to learn who will be visiting.
Students who meet the criteria are eligible to receive their college application fee waived. Students who think they may be eligible should visit the guidance office to have their form approved, signed, and sealed by a school official.

College Fairs

All juniors and seniors are taken each year in September to the Defiance County College Fair, where over 75 colleges and universities are available to talk with students.  In addition, Williams County and Trine University host a College Fair each year in the fall, and NW State Community College hosts a college fair in the spring.  Check the bulletin board outside of the guidance office, announcements, emails, and newsletters for dates.  You can also visit NACAC College Fairs to find a complete list of college fairs.
